Chris Beale has been active in the entertainment and presentation industry for over 30 years. He was a founding member of SSE Hire Limited in 1983 and was director and shareholder of the company until January 2006 when he left the company to form CBA. As group hire director at SSE, Chris developed the company touring, event and presentation operations during which time the company became a leading supplier within Northern Europe. Chris was especially instrumental in the development of the festival and event market for SSE and, at the same time he conceived, designed and developed several well-known products including the SkyHook and Teepee support towers, the Eze-tilt console stand, the acclaimed Nexo Alpha and Geo T rigging systems and the ProSight inclinometer system. |

Chris is internationally known for sound system design including the most challenging large-scale projects. These include: London's Hyde Park (Party in the Park) and Finsbury park (Fleadh and Party in the Park), Leeds, Homelands, Glastonbury, Reading, T in the Park, Download, Latitude, Hi-Fi and V festivals, Plus worldwide touring for many major artists as well TV shows such as the late "Top of the Pops" and Channel 4's "Transmission". |

Tim Butcher studied Music Technology at the University of Central England. He worked for several years as an independent engineer. Tim has also taught Music technology and Theatre studies at Polesworth High School. Tim is a keen musician and the lead singer of the Polesworth Rhythm and Blues Orchestra that, one day, hope to shine Jools Holland's shoes. He also plays Drums for popular Midlands 60's mod tribute band, The Pinch. |
Gary Iredale worked in the electronics and computing industry before joining CBA Spindlewood in 2007. He has since become our manufacturing kingpin with responsibility for preparation and maintenance of our networking equipment. Gary is our point of contact for service enquiries, field support and for shipping information. Outside work, Gary has a keen interest in music, appearing as a backing vocalist in local bands, and is an avid snooker fan. |
